n times gone by, it was thought that butterflies were actually fairies. It is therefore perhaps fitting that these highly polished lead-free sculptures are brought to life by hand-crafted, resin-coated paper wings, almost indistinguishable from the real thing.
ome sculptures incorporate real orchids and miniature roses, their beauty captured forever in a resin coating. Each piece comes in an attractive gift box.
utterfly Friendly. We used to supply another range of pewter fairies which had real butterly wings. However, the artist's original claim that the wings came from 'naturally deceased' butterflies, which were raised on farms, has been proven untrue. We find the idea of catching wild butterflies to incorporate into our products totally abhorrent. I can personally guarantee that we only supply handmade, synthetic wings.
